Whether it is a sudden illness, an accident, or something you cannot quite explain, we are ready to act quickly and compassionately.
From the first friendly hello to the last gentle pat before you leave, our goal is to make every appointment calm and stress-free for both you and your pet. We take the time to explain everything clearly so that you never leave with unanswered questions.
Why Immediate Action Matters?
Some problems can wait until tomorrow. Others cannot. A blocked airway, a deep wound, or a sudden collapse requires immediate veterinary attention to give your pet the best chance of recovery. Even if you are unsure whether it is truly an emergency, we always encourage you to call. It is better to check and be safe.
During an emergency consultation, our vets work swiftly to assess your pet’s condition, stabilise them, and provide treatment or recommend hospitalisation if needed. Our priority is to ease their discomfort, address the problem, and keep you informed so you know exactly what is happening.

Where Does Emergency Care Meet Preventive Care?
While some emergencies are unavoidable, many illnesses can be prevented with the right ongoing care. Keeping vaccinations up to date is one of the most effective ways to protect pets from dangerous diseases.
We vaccinate dogs against conditions like canine distemper, parvovirus, leptospirosis, and hepatitis, as well as kennel cough for those who socialise with other dogs. Cats are protected against feline herpesvirus, calicivirus, and panleukopenia, with optional vaccines for feline leukaemia virus depending on lifestyle.

What counts as a pet emergency?
If your pet is having trouble breathing, has collapsed, is bleeding heavily, has eaten something toxic, or is in severe pain, it is an emergency. Trust your instincts, if you feel it is urgent, call us immediately.
Do you offer emergency care outside of normal hours?
Yes. We have arrangements in place so your pet can be seen by an emergency vet even when our clinics are closed. If you are a VIP member you get access to our Out of Hours video triage app, or you can call our number and you will be directed to the right place.
Should I call before coming in?
If possible, yes. Calling ahead allows us to assist you in any way possible so we can treat your pet without delay.
Can you handle all types of emergencies?
We are equipped to handle a wide range of emergencies, from injuries to sudden illnesses. For more complex cases, we work closely with specialist centres to make sure your pet gets the care they need.
Are emergency consultations included in the VIP membership?
Yes. VIP members have their consultation fees included they also have access to our specialist Out of Hours video triage service, which means you can act fast without worrying about the cost of being seen.
