Sometimes, the smallest signs can be the first clue that something is not right. A limp that only happens in the morning. A sudden change in how much they are drinking. A patch of fur they have started grooming more than usual. Early advice and care can prevent small issues from becoming bigger ones.
Our consultations are a safe space for you to share your concerns and for us to examine your pet from nose to tail. We may run a health check, recommend further tests, or simply give you the reassurance that everything looks fine. Every pet is unique, so our advice is always tailored to their age, lifestyle, and medical history.

Where Consultations Fit Into Preventive Care
Many consultations lead naturally into preventive care. One of the most important parts of keeping pets healthy is making sure their vaccinations are up to date. This protects them from serious illnesses like canine distemper, parvovirus, and leptospirosis in dogs, and feline herpesvirus, calicivirus, and panleukopenia in cats. We also offer lifestyle-based vaccines, such as kennel cough for dogs who mix with other dogs, and feline leukaemia virus protection for cats who go outdoors.

Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, booking ahead helps us make sure we can give you and your pet the time and attention you deserve. However, if your pet needs urgent care, let us know and we will do our best to see you as soon as possible.
How long does a consultation take?
Most consultations last around 20 minutes, but if your pet needs a little more time to settle in or you have several questions, we are happy to take things at a pace that keeps everyone comfortable.
Can I ask about preventive care during a consultation?
Absolutely. Consultations are the perfect time to discuss vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, dental care, diet, or anything else related to keeping your pet happy and healthy.
